Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant

About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Business Central Analyst to lead client implementation projects from discovery through go-live and beyond. You'll work directly with customers in manufacturing and distribution environments, guiding them through Business Central deployments that connect to Dataverse, warehouse management (WMS), and manufacturing execution (MES) systems. This role is as much about people as it is about technology — you'll be the trusted advisor our clients rely on, translating their business challenges into working solutions and delivering an experience that keeps them coming back. What You'll Do
Lead requirements gathering, gap/fit analysis, solution design, and configuration for Dynamics 365 Business Central across finance, supply chain, warehousing, and manufacturing workstreams

Design, implement, and maintain Dataverse integrations connecting Business Central to Power Platform apps, Dynamics 365 CE, and other line-of-business systems

Integrate and support WMS solutions (barcode/scanner workflows, directed pick/put-away, license plating, bin and location management)

Integrate and support MES solutions (production order execution, shop floor data capture, machine/labor reporting, traceability)

Build and maintain Power Automate flows, Power BI datasets, and reporting against BC and Dataverse data

Partner with ISV vendors and manage third-party extensions through upgrades and release waves

Troubleshoot integration failures, data sync issues, and performance problems across the stack

Document processes, train end users, and drive adoption of new capabilities

Support BC upgrades, environment management, and testing cycles

Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) experience in a functional/analyst capacity

Proven experience setting up and maintaining Dataverse integration with Business Central (virtual tables, dual-write patterns, Power Platform connectors, sync configuration)

Direct experience implementing or supporting WMS solutions integrated with Business Central

Direct experience implementing or supporting MES solutions in a manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of core BC modules: items, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, purchasing, and sales

Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)

Ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and work with developers on AL extensions

Strong SQL and data analysis skills for troubleshooting and reporting

Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Aptean ISV solutions (e.g., Aptean Food & Beverage, Aptean EDI) or Insight Works/Clover Dynamics products (e.g., Warehouse Insight, Shop Floor Insight)

Supply chain background — demand planning, procurement, distribution, or logistics operations

Experience with EDI integrations

Microsoft certifications (MB-800 Business Central Functional Consultant or similar)

Experience in regulated or lot-traced manufacturing (food & beverage, life sciences, discrete)

Experience working with Dynamics 365 Business Central MCP and Copilot studio to build agentic solutions for clients.-Requerimientos- Educación mínima: Universitaria / I.P. / C.F.T.
